April 2011 – The 8th annual Walk for Autism Awareness will take place Saturday, April 16th at Nay Aug Park in Pennsylvania. The first walk, in 2004, had 200 walkers and this year there are over 2,000 walkers pre-registered. This walk will also feature basket raffles, games for walkers, and autism information booths to help others learn more about autism.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Adults $15, children under 18 are free. Registered walkers receive a T-shirt, while supplies last. Post-walk picnic free to all walkers.
